Are you a pharmacist in a cancer center or considering an Oncology specialty?  If so, check out the ACCP/ASHP hosted board certification prep course.  This year it is from May 1-3, 2014 in Washington, DC.

“The American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists are pleased to announce the increasingly popular 2014 Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review Course. Members of ACCP, ASHP, and the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association (HOPA) may register for this course at the discounted member rate.

The course will be offered May 1-3 in Washington, D.C., and the live course will offer 22.75 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education credit. The Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review and Recertification Course is a designed to help oncology pharmacy practitioners prepare for the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) Oncology Pharmacy Specialty Certification Examination. The fall examination is scheduled to be administered in September and October of 2014. The course is also an excellent review for oncology practitioners who seek to remain current in all aspects of their practice area, as well as for pharmacists interested in oncology.

The Oncology Pharmacy Preparatory Review Course has been approved by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties for recertification credit for board certified oncology pharmacists.
